Sopa de Lima
Fragrant and tangy Mexican soup.

Seemingly descending from the ancient Mayan cuisine, this delicious soup of the Yukatan peninsula can be a comfort food during hot or cold days.
A chicken soup at its core, this delicious broth is flavored with the mildly tangy and sweet Yukatan lime. If those are not available to you, feel free to use regular limes. We tried it and I can guarantee that the end product will be also awesome.
While this soup is a spicy one, we tailored the recipe for every taste - with only one optional seeded habanero pepper. If you love spicy food, we encourage you to be generous with your habaneros.
Decorate your soup with tortilla chips and strips, avocado slices and fresh cilantro.
