A chicken dish that requires longer cooking times - to blend flavors from the pomegranate, turmeric, cumin, cinnamon, nutmeg and orange zest. In other words, this is the prefect dish to cook in the slow cooker.
Traditionally, this recipe uses pomegranate molasses - however, if this ingredient is not accessible to you, consider using pure pomegranate juice instead to replace the water-pomegranate molasses mix. If the final sauce is too thin for your liking, remove the lid and allow the sauce to thicken as needed.
The end result is incredibly flavorful - but, rest assured, not too sweet. You'll love it!
