Sancocho Dominicano con cuatro Carnes

Dominican Sancocho made with 4 types of meat for a truly delicious culinary experience.

Made with beef, pork, ribs and smoked meat, yuca and plantains, this dish is pure yumminess!

Sancocho is not a dish that can be found only in the Dominican Republic, however each Latin American country that makes it will prepare it differently.

Part of why this dish tastes so great is the fact that properly cooked sancocho requires time - time for flavors to mix and blend and reach perfection. This is why this dish should be one of the first you start your weekly cooking with. It is also why, traditionally, eating sancocho is normally reserved for special occasions.

Pair this dish with a salad, to make for a complete meal.
