Raspberry Peach Salad with Rosewater and Basil
Here's a recipe to make your day sweeter: Raspberry Peach Salad with Rosewater and Basil.
This desert salad starts off with two fruits which both rich in the same aromatic component, geraniol : raspberries and peaches. We then add lemon juice to preserve the freshness; lemon zest, rosewater and basil for flavor (all these ingredients also contain geraniol) and a bit of Stevia to sweeten the lemon juice dressing.
I initially tried this fruit salad with mint - and, while I love mint and normally this goes very well with berries, I found this fruit salad tasted better with basil. If you'd like to try mint instead, cut it very finely - so that it does not overpower the dish.
