Pizza Margherita.

The ultimate feel good food.

We're starting this new week with a comfort food recipe: Pizza Margherita (with mushrooms). Actually... all of our recipes this week are going to be foods that you'd normally be having when going out with family or friends, on a hot summer evening 🍕🥗🍔🍟🌯

I don't know about you, but I've really had it with this social isolation - especially now that the weather is nice. Don't worry, it's more of a mental "I've had it". I'm still going to keep the distance and do everything I can to protect myself and others. I just wanted a bit of that feeling of what a sunny week-end can actually feel like... So I took it upon myself to get a bit of that through food.

You're probably wondering so I'll answer ahead: no, the food we're making together this week will not be <bad> for you. I wouldn't be a dietitian if I resorted to giving out recipes for a complete deep-fried menu. We made our pizza with 1/4 of the flour whole wheat for more fiber and served it with a salad (recipe to come) to make sure we are getting enough vegetables. Mushrooms don't normally belong to a Pizza Margherita - I just like them and decided to add these as well. You can do the same and add your own preferred ingredients - as long as you don't overcrowd the dough.
