Jogurtlitava
This is what Easter tastes like in North Macedonia.

A delicious casserole made with yogurt, eggs and rice, this dish is the way to celebrate Easter in North Macedonia.
As a fun fact, the name of the dish literally means "Yogurt Pan", a direct reference to the way the yogurt mix goes into the pan to be baked in the oven.
After cooking, expect to get a sunny yellow top and a deliciously refreshing meal, that has a bit of the tanginess of the yogurt. The only thing left to do before serving it is to cut it in large squares and sprinkle fresh green onion on top.
Some variations of this recipe will add meat to Jogurtlitava, however the recipe presented here presents the vegetarian version.
