Grilled Minced Meat Rolls
Updated: Jul 18, 2020
The classic Romanian barbecue staple.

Traditionally served hot from the grill, with warm bread rolls, spicy or Dijon mustard, hot peppers and pickles, these flavorful meat rolls are a Romanian favorite.
While hamburgers are very much eaten in Romania too, when we go picnicking and barbecuing we usually don't make a lot of burgers - we have these little guys instead.
They are normally made with a combination of beef and sheep minced meats, however you are sure to have a winning dish no matter what you choose as your base meats. I normally make them with beef and pork and they come out amazing every time. Pair them up with a salad and you have a complete meal.
This is a recipe I'm very proud of - as it is a combination that I came up with on my own, after doing a lot of research as to what the ideal spice combination should be. Now, this is a recipe that I've made over and over again.
