Greek Salad

Fresh and colorful.

Here it is: one salad to bind them all and in the kitchen bring them all. We end out comfort food week with a Greek salad with lettuce to tie all of our recipes together.

Like pretty much every other recipe this week, feel free to improvise and add your own magic to it. For example: if you want to add tomatoes, spinach, kale or onions you can certainly do so and the results are going to be just as fresh and just as tasty.

As with any salad: aim to cut your vegetables so that they are roughly the same size. They will become a joy to the eye and the mouth.

You also do not need a lot of dressing. Start by tossing your serving of vegetables with 1 Tbsp of dressing only and mix well. If you're able to coat everything evenly, you can probably stop right there with your salad.

This recipe is part of the 2020 - Week 22 menu of Comfort foods.
