A very simple recipe for a tasty soup.
A little baking soda added during cooking helps neutralize and decrease some of the acidity of this soup. This is a tip to remember ;)
We used stewed tomatoes, however this recipe can easily be made with fresh tomatoes - from the garden... or the supermarket.
Fresh basil will make for a perfect addition and garnish for the soup. In our home basil grows in a flower pot and we cut leaves as needed, however you can substitute this for dry basil if this is the only thing available to you.
