Coq au Vin

Cook to impress!

Coq au Vin is one of those meals that you may have had in a fancy French restaurant, yet probably didn't ever think you will make it at home. Well, I am here to tell you that you are certainly capable of making it in your own kitchen!


Does this dish sound super fancy? Yes!

Is it a fancy dish to prepare? Of course!

Is it hard to make? Actually no!


You'll need to marinate the chicken in red wine the night before. This will surely make you feel like an authentic French chef.

The dish will get extra flavor from butter/ margarine, lardons/ bacon, mushrooms, parsley, thyme, bay leaves and whole peppercorns.


Pair the chicken with a Classic French salad, such as Salade Nicoise, for a complete French experience.
